The challenge
A grant-giving organisation managed applications across spreadsheets and email, losing track of reviews, approvals and payment status.
What I built
I designed a relational Airtable base for applicants, applications, reviewers and disbursements, built an applicant + reviewer portal in Softr, and automated the full lifecycle with Make.com — submission confirmations, reviewer assignments, status notifications and disbursement tracking.
The results
- Replaced fragile spreadsheets with one source of truth
- Automated reviewer assignment and status emails
- Full visibility into every grant from application to payment
