Overview
Tasks, time tracking, client approvals and profitability reporting for a creative agency. I built a Next.js + Node platform unifying projects, tasks and Kanban boards, built-in time tracking, client review-and-approval links, and profitability dashboards comparing tracked time against project budgets. Built with Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, this web application project was delivered for a client in Canada and designed for reliability, a clean user experience and long-term maintainability — so it keeps delivering value well after launch.
The challenge
An agency stitched together three different tools for tasks, time and client sign-off, and still couldn't tell which projects were actually profitable.
