Overview
Driver and customer apps with live tracking, route optimisation and proof of delivery. I built React Native apps for drivers and customers on a Node back-end: live GPS tracking, optimised multi-stop routing, in-app status updates, photo/signature proof of delivery, and push notifications at every stage. Built with React Native, Node.js, Google Maps, this mobile app project was delivered for a client in Worldwide and designed for reliability, a clean user experience and long-term maintainability — so it keeps delivering value well after launch.
The challenge
A courier company coordinated drivers by phone and had no way for customers to track deliveries in real time.
