Migrated a monolith to containerised, autoscaling Kubernetes with zero downtime. I containerised the app with Docker, moved it onto a managed Kubernetes cluster on AWS with Helm charts, horizontal autoscaling, rolling deploys and health checks — cutting over with zero downtime. Built with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Helm, this devops & cloud project was delivered for a client in USA and designed for reliability, a clean user experience and long-term maintainability — so it keeps delivering value well after launch.
The challenge
A growing product ran on a single fragile server that fell over under traffic spikes and needed manual, risky deploys.
What I built
I containerised the app with Docker, moved it onto a managed Kubernetes cluster on AWS with Helm charts, horizontal autoscaling, rolling deploys and health checks — cutting over with zero downtime.
