Overview
Loan origination, repayment schedules, interest calculation and borrower portal. I built a Laravel loan-management system handling applications and approvals, automatic amortisation schedules, interest and fee calculation, repayment collection, overdue tracking, and a borrower portal to view balances and pay online. Built with Laravel, MySQL, Stripe, this web application project was delivered for a client in Worldwide and designed for reliability, a clean user experience and long-term maintainability — so it keeps delivering value well after launch.
The challenge
A lender tracked loans and repayments in spreadsheets, making interest, schedules and overdue tracking painful and error-prone.
